They did not want to give me a Ph.D. for it, though,
so again I had to work hard to get that. At least I decided to pick a better climate
for this, and went to sunny Sydney and the (not so sunny)
University of Technology.
There I worked with
Barry Jay on
shape theory
resulting in a couple of conference papers,
and, finally, my thesis. Its topic and title is Shape Analysis.
